Lord give me strength.
Even in the darkest, most remote places of the world Jesus’ light is there. I never thought it would be in North Korea. We are so lucky and fortunate for our freedom. What courageous people.
Kim Jong-un has called for the execution of 33 Christians in North Korea who were actively building secret, underground churches with South Korean leader Kim Jung-wook. I am sad for their deaths, but amazed at their courage, hopeful of the reforming of such a brainwashed and desolate nation.
Amen! Thank you timinglight for submitting this!
God is constantly trying to plant new seeds of victory on the inside of us. He’s trying to increase us. He’s trying to enlarge our vision. He wants to take us to new levels of victory. But before we see a harvest, the seed has to take root. We have to conceive it before we are going to receive it.
We must examine our thought life. What are we allowing to take root? Are God’s seeds of life growing in our heart and mind, or are we nurturing seeds of defeat and despair? The good news is that we can change our thoughts right now, this very moment, and begin to dwell on God’s promises and His goodness. Let His good seeds take root in our mind and heart. It won’t be long before we’ll see that harvest of blessing come forth in every area of our life!
For your Maker is your husband,
the Lord of hosts is his name;
and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer,
the God of the whole earth he is called.
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness
I dare not trust
The sweetest frame
But wholly trust in Jesus’ name.
I have encountered so many types of water
Felt the different temperatures
Heat my skin, chill my bones.
But I have always emerged from it
Still thirsty for life, still unsatisfied,
The only water ever strong enough to quench
The thirst in this heart
Is the water of God, the invisible force
In the words of my mouth,
The raising of these hands,
The collapse of this life on knees.
This is where thirst subsides,
Where we are filled
In the presence of living water.
